In June 2026 the Media, War and Conflict journal will host a preconference at the International Communication Association (ICA) Annual Conference in Cape Town, South Africa. We are delighted to host a range of scholars from around the world to discuss the difficult topic of challenges to journalism today, particular a sharp rise in journalists facing violence and death.
